Thirst: Movie Review

For Halloween, I’m reviewing “Thirst”.  A vampire cult wishing to unite two great families kidnaps a woman who’s the descendant of the Countess Elizabeth Bathory.

This movie’s bloody for sure!  It’s also very original.  David Hemmings stands out as compassionate Dr. Fraser, who has his own villainous way of conditioning Kate.  Though they never say, I’m guessing that the other’s family’s bloodline dates back to Vlad the Impaler.

Unfortunately, half of the tape was messed up, so I couldn’t enjoy the ending.  Thank goodness I’ve seen it before.

Based on my previous screenings, I give it a big thumb up.
